If you are looking to fight the signs of ageing such as fine lines and wrinkles, Dermal Fillers are an effective cosmetic procedure that will transform your complexion and visibly turn back the years. Skin will look plumper, firmer and smoother, restoring your beauty confidence and making you look skin perfect. Offering you a natural looking lift, collagen levels are restored and your complexion glows.

Dermal fillers are delivered by injection and come in either a natural formulation such as Hyaluronic Acid or a synthetic version such as Poly-l-lactic acid (PLLA). Injected directly into the skin, they immediately target the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles as well as being used to plump areas such as the lips or sculpting the cheeks for a more defined facial shape.

Offering a long-term solution, Hyaluronic Acid injections last between 4 months to a year with synthetic versions showing results for up to 2 years. Permanent fillers are starting to become available but currently come with an increased risk of damage or failure, especially if the procedure isn’t carried out by an aesthetic professional. Carrying out the Dermal Filler procedure is more complicated than that of antiwrinkle injections like Botox which just requires an injection in the right place, with Dermal Fillers needing to be precisely calculated for optimum results. Get this wrong and it can result in an adverse reaction and unsightly result. But when it is done well, the Dermal Filler is a premium targeted treatment that offers more versatility than Anti-wrinkle Injections. Ideal for Non-Surgical Nose Reshaping, Lip Enhancement, Nose to Mouth Lines, Smokers' Lines, Chin Augmentation & Reshaping, Cheek Bone Augmentation, Cheek Enhancement, Marionette Lines, Saggy Skin, Deep Frown Lines, Hand Fillers, Eye Rejuvenation as well as an 8-point face lift, at last there is a premium alternative to anti-wrinkle Botox injections without the need for cosmetic surgery. With a relatively quick recovery time and discomfort and redness settling within a day or two, Juvederm Dermal Fillers have a fast-growing fan base, especially for those looking to have full control over their appearance.

As with any procedure, it should be highlighted that results can vary and it comes with a small element of risk. Allergic reactions, infection and unsightly bumps have been reported, making it imperative that you choose a highly-rated industry expert.

Local anaesthetic cream will be used prior to the injections to help minimise any discomfort. Rupesh uses only the smallest needles to ensure that the treatment is as comfortable as possible and to increase accuracy.

Depending on which areas are being treated, your treatment may last around 30-45 minutes. There is no recovery time, but you should expect minor swelling and redness. This will disappear within 2 days and is easily disguised with make-up. Results are often visible immediately with a smoother, more youthful appearance showing as the skin settles.

If there is any injection related reaction such as swelling, pain, itching, bruising or tenderness at the injection site that lasts beyond 48 hours, then please contact us direct.

Based in Harley Street, London, Rupesh is a highly-skilled and certified aesthetic practitioner who is dedicated to client satisfaction. Honest, caring and wanting you to leave his Harley Street clinic 100% satisfied, no question is too small and no detail overlooked.

Rupesh only uses the highest quality world-renowned Dermal Fillers on the market. ALLERGANS dermal fillers called JUVEDERM are a long-lasting smooth gel Dermal Filler that is made with Hyaluronic Acid, a sugar compound that exists naturally found in the body. Approved by the FDA to last for up to 1 year, the only brand that currently is, results can last up to 18 months.

Juvederm Dermal filler combines with water in your skin to restore lost fullness and smooth out wrinkles and lines.

Just what is the difference between the two fillers and how do you know what your practitioner has used on you?

When it comes to dermal fillers, there is little doubt that Allergan are a world leader in producing a high-quality product that delivers superior results in order to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. With a product that quite literally can be life changing, confidence boosting and with lasting results that show, it is Dermal Fillers that Rupesh has chosen to match his proven aesthetic skills.

Of course, in the world of dermal fillers as with many other things, technology moves at a rapid rate, with Allergans Juvederm Vycross dermal fillers being the latest product to hit the dermal filler market. So, what is it about this latest version that makes it preferable to Allergans Juvederm Ultra and does its appearance signal the end for the latter formulation?

The Juvederm Vycross range of Dermal fillers are part of the Allergan family, the originators of leading BOTOX Injections, meaning that it already has a proven ability in terms of giving satisfying results. Whether you’re looking for an anti-ageing effect that lessens and diminishes wrinkles, are looking to plump and reshape or to smooth the complexion, The Juvederm Vycross has a product that will transform your look in the most positive of ways. Where Juvederm Vycross has the advantage over Juvederm Ultra is firstly its ability to last. It’s higher price point is an initial indicator that you are getting something extraordinary and a cleverly formulated mix of both high and low molecular weight HA’s mean that your results could last up to 24 months, dependent on the treatment area. This is of great appeal to those who lead busy lifestyles as well as those who are wanting aesthetic treatments but are not wholly comfortable with the procedures.

Allergans Juvederm Vycross Dermal Fillers has been upgraded to a smoother gel formulation that minimises the risk of unsightly bumps. This consistency makes precision application far easier to achieve, meaning that Rupesh has even greater control over targeting the areas where you want to see results. Improved elasticity means better sculpt and lift so you truly can have more control over the end result. And as Juvederm Vycross dermal fillers has 0.3% Lidocaine added to its formulation, discomfort and swelling after the procedure is lessened.

The Allergans Juvederm Vycross range comes in the following fomulations:

Voluma – this is the preferred choice for adding volume to areas such as the cheeks and for procedures such as non-surgical rhinoplasty.

Volbella – this is the perfect choice for the whole eye area, with the ability to target more awkward to reach and delicate areas but producing superior smoothing results.

Volift – this is a great choice for the nasolabial fold area as well as creating superior lip definition.

Whilst the differences between Allergans Juvederm Vycross dermal fillers and Juvederm Ultra dermal fillers may seem minimal, a subtle difference can truly elevate your look and restore body confidence. Longer-lasting and with a smoother aesthetic delivery, Rupesh highly recommends Juvederm Vycross Dermal Fillers for your dermal filler needs.

TEOSYAL RHA 1.2ml: 2 £250

Our lips are one of the most used noticeable facial features that we have. From smiling, to eating to talking and even to kissing, it seems our lips never stop moving. However, as we age, this can result in thinning as well as there being a large differentiation in the appearance of our natural lip shape and size. Around the mouth, fine lines and wrinkles can appear as well as tell-tale ‘Smokers Lines’.

Our Dermal Lip Fillers Injections ( Teosyal RHA 2 & 3 ) (Juvederm Volift or Volbela ) can restore a smile to the face, boosting confidence, making you look more youthful and balancing facial features.

Rupesh is highly experienced in this area and after a free initial consultation will determine the exact treatment to enhance the lip area. Whether you’re looking to boost volume, reverse a downward smile or fill in fine lines, we have the ideal solution for you.

JUVEDERM VOLBELLA® is the first and only FDA-approved filler proven to increase lip fullness and correct perioral lines for up to 1 year.*
*With optimal treatment.

TEOSYAL RHA 2 should be used in patients wanting a ‘natural’ appearance as it has less viscosity and firmness than RHA 3, whilst those demanding ‘fuller’ or ‘pouty’ lips are better treated with RHA 3. The manufacturer claims that results last approximately 12 months.

Traditionally dermal fillers were injected using needles to pierce the skin and inject the dermal filler into subcutaneous tissue. Rupesh also learned this technique when he first qualified in Aesthetics.

But now Rupesh prefers to use cannulas over needles as they give you less bruising and a shorter recovery period.

Rupesh's cannula technique has the following advantages:

• A needle can’t discern what it’s going through, and will pierce through anything in the skin or in the subcutaneous tissue. A round-ended cannula, allows Rupesh to feel each structure as it passes through. If resistance happens, an alternative pathway is found. This means you will experience much less bruising than a needle and can avoid damage to your veins and arteries.

• Cannulas are longer than needles, which mean Rupesh, can fill in a number of areas on your face from one single entry point. This results in less bruising and trauma to your skin, with a better and smoother result.

Rupesh takes a great deal of care to avoid the ‘duck lips’ or ‘trout pout’ that signals to the world you’ve had your lips done. Rupesh in your consultation will always advise you on the treatment areas and type of filler he will use. This includes price, after care and possible side effects of your filler treatment.

The most common area of the lips to enhance is the body of the lip. Rupesh can balance out your top and bottom lips by adding volume and everting the inside of your lip out slightly. When the philtrum (the two lines that connect your upper lip to your nose) is enhanced, your upper lip will have more curve and shape so it appears more sensual.

Using lip injections in the vermillion border of your lip (between your skin and lip surface) Rupesh can define and enhance your lip. This can also soften and smooth vertical upper lip lines.

Your cupid’s bow – the V shaped area in the centre of your upper lip. Using fillers here will add plumpness and improve the shape of your lips.

Rupesh's lip enhancement can improve your lips and make your mouth fuller and more youthful looking. What we don't do is to change the shape of your lips entirely. We just enhance what you have already got and make it even more beautiful.

Whilst we rarely analyse for what reason, or indeed, just how much we use our facial features, the mouth and the lips are undoubtedly one of the busiest items that we possess. From eating and drinking, talking and, of course, to kissing, it seems that our mouths and lips are always working hard. As such, they can be prone to showing the tell-tale signs of ageing such as fine lines and wrinkles and visible thinning, yet when it comes to trying to turn back the years, we often focus more on the smoothness and plumpness of the facial skin in general.

In recent years, there has been an increasing trend in a focus on the lip area with a plumped pout being one of the most revered looks on the beauty market. Juvederm Volbella Lips is a dermal filler that is designed to create a more natural lip look that will enhance without drawing attention to an unnatural fullness. Made from Hyaluronic Acid,  Juvederm Volbella Lips looks to redress the balance of lost collagen and restore elasticity, so creating more definition, restoring volume, rehydrating and smoothing. The result is lips that look naturally restored, helping to frame your facial features and ensuring that the lip area doesn’t stand out as being ageing, especially when other facial areas have been treated with a look of youthfulness restored.

In line with current technological advances meaning that dermal fillers are lasting longer and longer, Juvederm Volbella Lips is a long-lasting product with an approximate expected result of 12 months. Using a fine needle enables Rupesh to directly target the areas of concern, meaning you get more individualised results that boost beauty confidence. This also helps aid with the recovery time with a minimal amount of swelling, discomfort and redness. Juvederm Volbella Lips contains a carefully balanced amount of Lidocaine which is a local anaesthetic, ensuring that your comfort during the procedure is always of great importance to Rupesh.

The range of products are made by Allergan, the originators of BOTOX, meaning that the manufacturers claims come with a high amount of evidential proof gained over many years of aesthetic practice. Fine lines around the lips can be diminished, the lip area will look fuller with the opportunity to have both the upper and lower sections in equilibrium and all of this is achievable with minimal invasion. The result is a smoother more youthful lip finish that will have your lips looking naturally boosted and rejuvenated whilst also providing the perfect base for your make up choice with less lipstick bleeding risk.

VOLBELLA® is the first FDA-approved filler proven to increase lip fullness and correct perioral lines for up to 1 year.*

Tear Trough Filler: When we are tired, poorly or just simply through genetics, dark circles can really affect our beauty confidence.

The area between your lower eyelid and upper cheek is known as your tear trough and as we age, this becomes more prominent. Tear Trough Rejuvenation is a specialised non-surgical aesthetic treatment performed using a Hyaluronic Acid injectable gel like Juvederm with built-in Lidocaine. Restoring volume and helping to retain optimum skin moisture levels, the area looks lighter and brighter with a youthful vibrancy returned.

We recommend that this treatment is used in conjunction with an associated treatment plan as advised by Rupesh.

Why choose tear trough filler?
Some people who may be having problems with bags or shadows under the eye who wish to do something about them may consider surgery. However, this can be expensive and many people may not want to go under the knife. Thankfully, non-surgical procedures such as tear trough treatment can be very effective too and for a fraction of the cost. This makes it an excellent for those who want to rejuvenate the area around their eyes.

Why does one need filler under the eyes in the tear trough area?
The filler is meant to replace the natural “fat pad” structure that exists there to cushion and fill up the under eye area. With time, due to aging and genetics, the fat pad tissue shrinks and migrates, causing hollowness, which creates dark shadows under the eyes.

Are tear trough procedures painful?
Most patients when contemplating any cosmetic procedure will obviously be concerned about any possible pain that may be involved. We’re happy to report that there is little or no pain reported by the overwhelming majority of patients. As part of the procedure, a local anaesthetic is applied in the eye in the form of a cream before the treatment begins. This has the effect of numbing the area to make it comfortable for you.

What fillers are used for eye bags / tear troughs?
Tear trough procedures use a substance called hyaluronic acid. This is a safe substance that retains its shape and position much longer than alternatives such as collagen.

Are tear trough procedures reversible for eye bags / tear troughs?
Thanks to the fact that hyaluronic acid filler is used in these types of procedures, they are completely reversible. If in the unlikely occurrence that you do not like what your eyes look like after treatment, then it is easily remedied. Because hyaluronic acid is not permanent, it can be easily erased by injecting hyaluronidase. This dissolves all of the HA within minutes, returning the skin around your eyes to their original shape.

How long do the results last eye bags / tear troughs?
You’ll be happy to know that the results of tear trough treatments are long lasting, usually lasting from 1-2 years. Of course the exact length of time depends upon a number of factors. As well as the patient themselves, things such as exercise, diet, smoking and alcohol can have an effect. Once the results do start to fade, the treatment can simply be repeated.

Are their any side effects to be concerned about eye bags / tear troughs?
There are no major side effects that you should be concerned about. There may be some bruising and redness of the skin following the treatment, but this should calm down after about a week. For this reason, you consider the timing of your treatment if you have a special event or holiday planned.

How to treat under eye bags / tear troughs
There are 2 main ways in which we can treat tear troughs and under eye bags:

Method 1: treating loss of cheek volume
Sometimes the trough forms because of loss of volume in the fat pads of the cheeks. If this is the case then treating the upper cheek with dermal filler can often provide good support to the under eye area and reduce the appearance of the tear trough.

Method 2:  injecting dermal filler directly into the tear trough itself
If you have good cheek volume and simply have a deep tear trough then dermal filler can be injected into the tear trough to lift the area and reduce the depth of the line. The downside of this method is a slightly higher bruising risk.

Do tear trough injections hurt?
There should be minimal pain with injection in the tear trough area.

Why does volume disappear from tear trough area?
It happens due to age appropriate volume loss.  Can also do to genetic causes.  You can use effective eye creams to prevent volume loss, wrinkles and dark circles.

Will I have bruising under my eyes from tear trough injections?
Bruising is always a possibility with any injection. Rupesh uses advanced injection techniques with minimal injection points to decrease risk of bruising.

How do I know if I have tear trough issue?
Shadows under your eyes can make you look tired.  If people ask you or if you feel you look tired, then this might be one of the reasons. As always, consultation with the expert is the best way to find the cause and the most appropriate treatment.

I use 0.3cc TEOSYAL Redensity® [II] in the tear trough and eventually I distribute the remaining 0.2 cc in the central and lateral parts of the periorbital region in each eye.

Usually I only use one entry point using a cannula in each tear trough, though sometimes I can provide a second one to better distribute the teosyl product and prevent bruising.

Normally, I ask my patients to come back for a follow-up visit, after 15-30 days to see if they need a touch-up.

We use Teoxyl Redensity for our Tear Trough Treatments.
Teoxyl Redensity 11 is produced using hyaluronic acid. Because hyaluronic acid already exists within our bodies, our body will view the Teoxyl Redensity II product in the same way as naturally-occurring hyaluronic acid and begin to metabolize it over time. Teoxyl Redensity 11 has a wonderful safety record and is the premium product for under eye injections.* Hence the results are not Permanent.

Teoxyl Redensity 11 is specifically formulated for use under the eyes. Generally people use 1 to 2 syringes for this specialty under-eye product.  The cost at present is £350 for 1ml Syringe (Sept 2018).

We use Teosyl Redensity II in our Clinic and Rupesh explains the average results typically last for approximately one year. As a specialty product for under the eye, most patients return for upkeep before the product completely dissolves to maintain an optimal contour, look, and shape. The Individual results may vary depending on lifestyle.

The recovery following a Tear Trough Treatment in our Harley Street Clinic in London is minimal.

Patients can expect that most of the swelling will occur for the first 2 days under the eyes. This swelling will decrease in the days following, although it is absolutely normal for some minor swelling to remain up to 14 days after treatment.

Because the under-eye area is very thin-skinned and delicate, small bruises can occur. Patients are able to cover the bruises with makeup or find that they are barely noticeable.

To decrease the possibility of bruising, Rupesh recommends avoiding any blood-thinning medicines like Aspirin, Ibuprofen etc and supplements such as vitamin E, and/or ginseng for 2 weeks before your Tear Trough Dermal Filler treatment, if at all possible.

The under-eye area is delicate and thin-skinned, so it is natural to be concerned about the possible pain. However, the Teosyal Line of products is superior and has some incredible added benefits such as Lidocaine.

Lidocaine is a product included with Redensity II that helps numb the area being treated. This means that the patient feels little to no discomfort during injections, and after the procedure, the freezing dissipates very quickly.

Patients are usually delighted to discover how quick and comfortable Redensity II injections are.

Rupesh is the only one who does his consultations and who perform the dermal filler injections at the Harley Street Clinic. When clients realize that the expertise and personal skill of Rupesh, they are confident that they will obtain the top Redensity II results possible. Rupesh employ his passion for artistry to create beautiful Tear Trough Solutions with Teoxyl Redensity II outcomes.

We use Redensity II dermal filler at our Harley Street Clinic and the Tear Trough Treatment in our London Clinic can take as little as 15 minutes or up to 45 minutes. Typically 1 to 2 syringes are used for the under-eye area. The results are instantly gratifying.

Teosyal Redensity II is the first injectable filler of its kind that has been developed specifically for the tear trough area to address fine lines, dark circles, and deep hollows under the eyes.

TEOSYAL Redensity® [II] is indeed a semi-reticulated lightweight HA gel (15mg/mL) with a carefully crafted mix of cross-linked and non-crosslinked HA, providing adapted hygroscopic and viscoelastic profiles.

Its reduced ability to absorb water decreases both the risks of oedema and overcorrection, allowing for a “what you see is what you get” result**.

Its spreadability improves the ease of correct gel positioning, for a safe
and natural shape restoration that lasted for a minimum of 1 year and
up to 21/2 years in my hands.

The TEOSYAL Redensity® [II] 3-in-1 formula also incorporates an
anaesthetic (lidocaine, 0.3%) for the patient’s comfort, and a cocktail
of essential nutrients (amino acids, minerals, vitamin B6 and antioxidants) that, together with HA, rejuvenate dermis and visibly improve skin quality.

In my Practice injecting with TEOSYAL Redensity® [II] provides one of the best solutions available for the Tear Trough Dermalfiller Treatment in London.
